The film highlights the lifestyles of three prominent yet distinctly different kitesurfers – Andre Phillip, Susi Mai and Pete Cabrinha, focusing on how each one cut their own path as a rider.
Surf, style, and the desire to balance a nomadic life while continuing to push the boundaries of the sport is what sets these 3 riders apart. Despite their diverse backgrounds and styles, the quest for the perfect session is the catalyst that binds these three together.
Shot on location in Maui, Bahamas, Guadeloupe, Antigua, Dominican Republic, Cape Hatteras and Peru, Catalyst gives a front seat perspective to the action and lifestyle of 3 of kitesurfing’s most innovative pros. Other riders featured include Cameron Dietrich, Shawn and Jesse Richman, Damien Leroy, Alex Soto and Jon Modica.
