Introduction

The feeling of the wind in your hair, water spraying softly over your face and…the feeling of the whole world plunging away beneath your feet as you boost a big air. All your worries are torn away and a calm silence fills your heart.

This is one of the many feelings and adrenalin rushes that you will experience in this sport.

The first time you grab the bar and feel the pull of a kite, it's clear this isn't like any other sport. Instead of burning gas in a boat, you're being powered by nature itself. It isn't as much a sport as it is a passion.

Kiteboarding can be done almost anywhere especially inland. All you really need is wind, and your gear which can easily pack down to the size of a golf bag.

In the world of kitesurfing you’ll meet some incredible people, travel to beautiful locations and enjoy the healthiest of lifestyles.

Throughout this website, we'll walk you through some of the basics of getting started in kiteboarding and stoke you out on your newest obsession. Remember, this is not a guide on how to kite board but the first chance to share some of the passion.

Learn to kitesurf In Gauteng

Now is your chance! With the huge advancements in kite, board and bar technology, from Cabrinha the learning curve has decreased dramatically. What once took months to learn now takes hours and is now accessible on your door step with full IKO training on local dams in and around Gauteng.

Our course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and basic skills that you can draw upon and apply for the duration of your Kitesurfing experiences. Like most extreme sports, Kitesurfing is a potentially hazardous sport if approach in the incorrect manner and the emphasis on safety is therefore paramount and should be applied at all times, no matter what level you may attain. Participation in Kitesurfing is all about having fun and extracting the maximum enjoyment from the experience.
